Hewlett Packard Designjet 130NR
|
The Hewlett Packard Designjet 130NR
is a large-format 6-ink printer which creates fade-resistant, photo-quality images with consistent colors for professional photos, and prints. It uses the HP Vivera 84/85 high-stability, dye-based inkset with a high d-max and is designed especially for professional photography applications.
According to research by Wilhelm Imaging Research, the leading 3rd party researcher into archival standards in the printing industry, the inks used have proven to have a very high permanence rating when used with the HP photo papers (both gloss and satin), which we use. They concluded that these prints may be displayed indoors under glass for 82 years before noticeable fading and staining will occur.

Color images that last
• Fade-resistant, photo-quality images. The 130NR printer brings impressive photo quality to images. New inks, designed together with HP Premium Plus Photo and HP Proofing Gloss papers, produce images that resist fading longer than traditionally processed photos.
• Rich color depth, minimal dot visibility and uniform gloss. A six-ink writing system combines HP color layering technology, 2400 dpi maximum resolution and a fourpicoliter ink drop size for fine details, smooth tonal transition, a wide range of colors and gloss uniformity.
Reliable color
• See reliable, consistent color from print to print. Features automatic closed-loop color calibration to provide consistent color, print to print and printer to printer.
• Full color workflow support. Optimized drivers provide key features, including RGB ICC profiles and full Apple ColorSync support. Adobe® PostScript® 3 software RIPs also provide robust color management and proofing options for the CMYK workflow.
